projects

More significantly, the school has long been a leader in the research required to determine the best application of these powerful tools for simulation-based medical education.

Team Communications in Emergency Medical Care...

TWith the addition of a significant number of assets to the school's Office of Medical Education, medical students will find it easier to schedule training sessions using these tools. Medical student clerkships will have additional simulation devices available to enhance their curricula.

TThe emergency medicine clerkship, in cooperation with Dr. Gail Randel, has been able to use simulators to enhance the medical student experience. By combiing critical care learning points with opportunities to reflect on action and receive feedback on communications skills, the students recieve an immersive experience in simulated patient care.
